PERFORMANCES INVISIBLES DARE-DARE is very enthusiastic about the idea of presenting the latest creation of the conceptual artist Steve Giasson, entitled Performances invisibles, as part of “Micro-interventions in public space”. This extensive and very ambitious project will take place over a full year. In total,130 performances will be reenacted!

What can be accomplished by these subtle strategies—consisting of manoeuvres, of frail performance signals, of capturings of auras invisible to the naked eye—being deployed against the course, clamorous backdrop of the city? 79 contaminations 79 contaminations is a secret work that was inspired by spy thrillers to develop scattering strategies of extracts from Roland Barthes's Fragments d’un discours amoureux. It is in a way, the first duet work of Catherine Lalonde Massecar and Érick d'Orion. They combined approaches in audio art, art interventions in real context and the secret dramaturgy to create and broadcast a new warp-city which goes away from the public discourse and which adds love in the social fabric.

3DIS/LOCATIONs LAUNCHING This new volume looks back on the 3 last locations of DARE-DARE’s mobile unit: Cabot Square, Walter-Stewart Park and the Quartier des spectacles. Five authors address various realities of artistic practices in public space, including instrumentalization, (in)visibility and the anti-spectacle.
