2 CALLS FOR PROPOSALS DARE-DARE invites you to propose in socius interventions, in order to generate situations and aggregations that are anchored in a diversity of places and in extra-artistic spheres of activity DARE-DARE situates next year's programming around the social question from which the origin of artist-run centres derives, and their double role as landmark/haven, a point of reference and refuge.

VIVA! ART ACTION This year, invited curators Martine Viale and Christian Bujold conceived their programming giving priority to site specifics practices which incorporate a perspective of space and duration as a formal and conceptual component of the work. Between the intimate space of k.g. Guttman and the constructed spaces of Marilyn Arsem and John Court, we invite you to experience three distinct approaches which question the human presence in relation to different chosen sites.

Marie-Line Laplante I draw sentences from grammar books. Each time I open a grammar book I am stuck by the italic and bold type sentences used as grammatical illustrations. I often set aside the rules of the book and become obsessed by the lost sense of the sentences so sacrificed for grammatical purposes.

79 contaminations 79 contaminations is a secret work that was inspired by spy thrillers to develop scattering strategies of extracts from Roland Barthes's Fragments d’un discours amoureux. It is in a way, the first duet work of Catherine Lalonde Massecar and Érick d'Orion. They combined approaches in audio art, art interventions in real context and the secret dramaturgy to create and broadcast a new warp-city which goes away from the public discourse and which adds love in the social fabric.
