Location: Moving in and around Cabot Square

Since 2003, BOLM: The Label Project has been touring the world. People met fortuitously in public spaces are invited to donate their clothing labels, which will be sewn onto an overly branded straitjacket for fashion victims. Participants are welcomed to try on the “brand-suit” in order to feel the pressure and constraints of a self-image centric and manipulative society.

Anne Fauteux is a visual artist, jeweler and designer working both in Montreal and Toronto. After her Fine Arts studies at Concordia University (1983), her work has been shown in North America and Europe in over 85 exhibitions.
