DARE-DARE is happy to pertner with Admare centre to offer a montrealer launch for the beautiful publication Le Chant des pistes, which is a witness of the residency that happened on Îles-de-la-Madeleine during the 2016 summer.

The book, under supervision of author and curator Caroline Loncol Daigneault, gathers texts from Caroline, Anne-Marie Proulx, Nathaël Molaison, tales by Manon Lacelle and photographies by Nigel Quinn.

This catalog ensures a longevity for the ambulatory, promenade-based pieces realized in june of 2016 by local artists in Îles-de-la-Madeleine, the maritimes and France (Adriana Kuiper + Ryan Suter, Christopher Boyne, Maryse Goudreau, Katia Grenier, Lindsay Dobbin, Sara Dignard + Marie-Line Leblanc, Michael Fernandes, Samuel Thulin et Jane Motin), works which were displayed across the territory to organize a network of lines, from which emerge a cartography like a musical sheet inspired by the insular and maritime context.

You are warmly invited and expected to share a happy moment around tasty Madeleine Islands appetizers, prepared by Ginette, and in presence of curator and author Caroline Loncol Daigneault and the director of artist-run centre AdMare, Laurène Janowski.

The book will be available for puchase, for the special launch price of 20$.
