“Flutter or Flap” and “Number One Zamboniman” are excerpts from a larger project entitled “Big Mac Scotty’s Mini Hall of Fame”, a fictional chronicle of a Canadian recreational hockey league from the 1980s. This narrative-based project of images and texts celebrates a league of mediocre skill sets and an unorthodox dress code.

Jenny Lin is a Montreal-based multidisciplinary artist who creates narrative-based works. Sometimes inspired by real events or settings, Lin develops narratives into a mix of subdued yet absurd or fantastical scenes in which the everyday is somehow disrupted.
