A small room is erected in the gallery. The viewer can enter this space to watch four video screens embedded in its walls. The screens show images of the artist Paul Landon sitting in the same room. The circular motion caused by the image and the ambient sound causes the viewer to feel unbalanced.


Paul Landon (Montreal) has been producing single channel video and audio-video installations since 1984. His video work has been shown in Canadian museums and video festivals around the world. His installations have been presented in galleries in North America and Europe. Now living in Montreal, Paul Landon practices and teaches audio-video installation at the School of Visual and Media Arts at the Université du Québec à Montréal.
