The duo Fougy-Girault-Têtevide offers a series of actions and performances in the park with no name, but also in the neighboring boroughs. Their project kif-kif bourricot will take the form of a polyform animal, in constant metamorphosis, conducting its daily occupations to which the public will be able to attend. These outings will become the material for the production of photographic and video series produced in several urban landscapes and public and private spaces of Montreal.

This is the basis of a work of actions for which we have made a costume for two bodies. This costume is conceived as a potential for multiple appearances from the formless animal to the animal form. This character is both a tale of oral tradition, different popular cultures and horror movie. The confrontation of this costume with the reality of urban spaces and with the inhabitants of the neighborhoods will allow us to divert the day to day reality from its usual course. We intend to visit various elementary gestures (eating, sitting, running, sleeping, dancing ...) in a poetic will of exploration and rediscovery of everyday life, oscillating between lightness, idiocy and grotesque.

Sophie Fougy and Simon Girault-Têtevide (Bordeaux, France) have been collaborating since 2000 and at the same time maintaining an individual practice. Together, in 2005, they made a residency at Nadine's in Brussels during which they made a video film depicting the adventures of two foxes (a realistic costume in real fox skin and another, the caricature of the first, in synthetic fur). They presented with Cédric Couturier a mobile and modular garden in different places of Turin during the Biennial in 2002. Sophie Fougy presents a work in performance, video and drawing, and regularly collaborates with the Parasite Publishing (screen printing workshop) to Bordeaux. Simon Girault-Têtevide develops a work of actions in places not dedicated to the diffusion of art: lake in Pyrenees, forest in Dordogne and others, which translate into video and photo format. They both lived at the Citta del Arte of the Pistoletto Foundation in 1999 and in the natural area of La Palissade in the Camargue in 2006 (residence Citron jaune).
