ARTISTS FOR TAKE-OUT 2009
DARE-DARE, Montreal center for the diffusion of multidisciplinary art, is pleased to invite you to its annual auction, now available on line. Artists for Take-Out is an auction where artists are sold: they will propose interventions and performances to be carried out at your work place or at your home. You will find attached a catalogue with the list of the lots up for auction, the explanation of the proposed interventions and a short descriptive text outlining the artistic practices of the participating artists.
This catalogue will be much more interactive. It will allow you to place your bid on line as well you will be able to check out the new propositions from the artists as they are added throughout the course of the year. This novel initiative is part of the fund raising activities designed by DARE-DARE’s Finance Committee in accord with the center’s mandate for experimentation, diffusion of contextual art and the promotion of emergent art practices. As a charitable organization the center will provide you with a receipt for taxable donations corresponding to the value of the purchased work.

You are invited to send us your propositions throughout the course of the year. Please send a short project description, a short text outlining your artistic practice (250 words for both) and a photo of your work to admin@dare-dare.org.
