DARE-DARE engages, this August 2006, in Phase 2 of Dis/location: projet d'articulation urbaine. The artist-run centre chose an unchristened park as the new multiyear location for its mobile office. The public fallow lot has been vacant for several years and is located at the conjunction of Plateau-Mont-Royal and Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie boroughs, near Saint-Laurent Blvd, the Van Horne/Rosemont overpass and the railway track. The abandoned park is DARE-DARE's second home base since it initiated the Dis/location project on Viger Square in August 2004.

The new site will be the host of DARE-DARE's regular program in multidisciplinary arts. Through the broadcasting of projects and the collaboration of artists, the Centre will attempt linkage of the park to its immediate and broader environments. In a general way, its work will focus on place syntax, neighbouring boundaries and the changing usage in the nearby areas. As was the case at Viger Square, the scheduled projects will serve as a medium or catalyst between the space and individuals.
