In this ambitious project, the artists Magali Babin and Sylvie Cotton will collect the first names of every person living in the HJM, creating a unique soundtrack from the collection.

This experimental soundtrack will then be broadcast, reflecting the diversity of cultures residing in the heart of Montreal. At the same time, they will also make a compilation of the favourite song titles of every resident, using this musical collection as a soundtrack (dj mix) for a celebratory community dance party at the beginning of the fall.

To participate, watch for the artists and their team during the month of August. They’ll be in and around the HJM -during the day and the evenings- at the market, the garden, the park or in basketball court.

It’s Easy to Participate !

You just have to fill out the form with : your first name, your favourite song’s title and artist/group name (optional). Your answers will be collected in a special box (Lucie Côté’s office) or on the Public Market table (Monday and Thursday).
