Marc Gibert

Marcõ (Marc Gibert) creates spaces between interaction and reflective contemplation, on the border between the figurative and the abstract. He works in a language of light with several media (photography, video, sculpture and kinetic installation). Always curious to learn through immersion, his residencies and long journeys to discover other cultures enrich his life and practices. A graduate in project management, applied arts and photography (Dawson), he continues his training in visual and media arts at UQAM. Marcõ has been exhibiting for over 20 years. His creations can be found in private collections (America, Europe and Asia), public spaces (Habitations Jeanne-Mance 2021- ) and museum exhibitions (Espace Niemeyer 2023 and Musée de Charleville-Mézières 2023-2024).
